It was a long day for us yesterday, but, the left eye has its cataract removed. We grabbed Lar right from dialysis and drove to the hospital for the out-patient procedure. They were right. It is an easy procedure-didn't take long at all. It just is a little more difficult when you have as many medical issues as he does . Especially since he couldn't eat or drink after midnight. But, it worked fine. His eye does not hurt, he is just pretty tired. And of course, we have to put the drops in every 2 hours.
Biz and I are going to get him up in a few minutes because we have a lot of running around to do. Coumidin clinic, the eye doctor, up to West Bend to get the emissions checked on the van so I can get my new tags, Pick and Save and Piggly Wiggly for groceries and Home Depot to check out what plants they have and perhaps a few rummages along the way.
Biz and I got my bedroom primed yesterday and will paint later on, so I am happy about that and Phrog got the riding mower out and started mowing, so we can maybe get the mowing done if we have time. We do have a busy day ahead!
