The Sky-Trak is a Calling!

I look out the window. And see it. Sitting...orange and calm in the driveway. Waiting....hoping that today is the day. To fire her up . To stretch out and cut some errant branches from the trees.
Well, I just want to cut some trees down! There are so many trees with dead branches that fall all over when there is any wind. And Phrog (The Baby) won't get on the platform with me at the controls! Like I would send him flying or something!
I just hope that we get some of the branches cut before Thomas has to get the sky-trak moved to a job site. Sigh....
On a different note, Larry has been having weird pains. Yesterday, he was almost in tears when I went to pick him up at dialysis. His stump hurt and nothing that they did helped. So, I took his leg off and adjusted the lined and he was good to go. Sometimes, the simple fix is the one that works the best.
But then, for the rest of the day yesterday, he had himself all twitter-pated because of the leg pain and even though it was all gone once I adjusted his liner, he still had himself all shaken up. Worried that something was wrong. So then he had all sorts of pains. Pain in his shoulders and neck (Larry you have yourself very tense, so of course your neck and shoulders are going to hurt)...his stomach...his neck again....his other leg....he was huffing and puffing because he couldn't catch his breath. It was just not a great day for him. Hopefully, he will be better today. We do not have to go anywhere or do anything, so that is always a plus.
Last night we watched part 2 of the thing on PBS about FDR. It was really good and we both learned quite a bit. He lived through that whole era. To me, it was only something we learned about in school, and then, probably just glossed over most of the pertinent info, so I really learned quite a bit. We would be very sad pandas without PBS at night. Not too much to watch anymore on regular TV. There are way too many reality shows. When Biz is here, she watches "Survivor" and "American Idol". There is no way Larry would watch Survivor, but he watched Idol with her a couple of times (his comments were classic as these people sang) It is not something that he would like to make a regular practice-to say the least. This from a man who will watch just about anything as he cruises the channels!

I am sure we could drive it, come on what would it take. Alright there is a lot of stuff in the way and hills and stuff.....but it would be fun.
Maybe next time. I hope you get the tree branches down. Love you, Biz.
So sad, now the Idol is over. What shall I watch now? So you think you can dance!
